What you need to know about Gunnersbury Park

Gunnersbury Park

Originally part of the Manor of Fulham, owned and managed by the bishops of London, Gunnersbury Park is now considered to be an important public space managed by the London Boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow. It covers approximately 75 hectares of land and is bordered by Chiswick, Acton, Brentford and Ealing. Gunnersbury Park has a rich royal history being a former estate of several members of the aristocracy and is a Grade II listed estate, donated to the local councils by the Rothschild family. Aside from its vast green spaces, it also features an 18th-century temple, Italian styled landscaped garden, gothic bathhouse, orangery and round boating lake. In addition to the two well-preserved mansions, there are 22 other Grade II listed buildings on the estate. It is just 50 minutes away from the city centre via the A40 and is serviced by Acton Town Station.
