Bounds Green, part of the London Borough of Haringey, is a residential north London suburb that covers the area north-west of Wood Green. Originally developed as an overnight stop for travelers,it became a suburb following the opening of its station on the London Electric Railway. Starting in the late 20th century, Bounds Green’s population has become increasingly diverse, with many Greek, Turkish, and Asian families choosing to relocate from their respective communities in the surrounding areas. Bounds Green Underground Station, which was refurbished early in the 21st century to both upgrade its facilities and restore most of its original features, is conveniently accessible from most addresses in the area and is a significant part of its appeal to central London commuters. Additionally, Bounds Green is also served by two nearby railway stations, and there are numerous Transport for London bus routes with stops within its boundaries.
