Ealing Common is a vast residential area situated within the London Borough of Ealing covering an area of approximately 47 acres of land. It is located on the western side of Ealing Town Centre and is surrounded by Gunnersbury Avenue and Uxbridge Road as well as Warwick Dene, The Common and Elm Avenue. Ealing Common is also a local ward which houses a relatively young population that is highly well educated. It also features landscaped paths lined with horse chestnut trees planted during the late Victorian period. There is also a large English Oak tree, London plane trees, rose beds and a small enclosed park. Ealing Common is located less than an hour away from the city centre via the A40 and is served by the Ealing Common Underground railway station. Station Parade is also lined with an extensive selection of great restaurants, various shops, pubs, bars and cosy cafes.
