North Finchley is a London suburb located 11 km north-west of Charing Cross, within the London Borough of Barnet. The district is centred around Tally Ho Corner, which sits at the intersection of the main thoroughfares leading to the neighbouring localities of Whetstone, Friern Barnet, Church End, and East Finchley, and known for its residential and commercial amenities. There are numerous dining establishments and several supermarkets in the area, as well as its community art centre, the artsdepot and a wide range of properties that are able to cater to a variety of needs, including larger vintage homes, luxury flats, and a handful of council housing options. Further adding to North Finchley’s appeal are its extensive transport links, with Woodside Park, West Finchley, and Finchley Central tube stations to the west of the area, and the New Southgate railway station sitting on Woodhouse Road (A1003), beyond Friern Barnet, to the east. The district also has its own bus station, which is served by a generous number of Transport for London bus routes.
