Little Venice is an area within the City of Westminster that is situated north of a triangle-shaped catchment formed by the junction of three canals and includes parts of the Paddington and Maida Vale districts. The neighbourhood owes its “Venice-like” appearance not only to the canals but also its architecture, which mostly consists of buildings with white stucco facades. Like the larger much larger district of St. John’s Wood to the north-east, Little Venice is considered one of London’s most desirable neighbourhoods due to both its unique atmosphere and its varied complement of coffee shops, restaurants, and retail shops. There are also several theatres in the area, as well as a good number of pubs, a handful of which are grade III listed. In addition, the entirety of Little Venice is extremely accessible, as all of the addresses in the neighbourhood are within walking distance of the Warwick Avenue tube station on the London Underground’s Bakerloo line.
