Stonebridge is one of the southernmost districts within the London Borough of Brent and shares many of the same characteristics as Harlesden, its neighbour to the east. It is considered one of the more inexpensive neighbourhoods to live in within Brent, due to the wide availability of affordable yet modern residential options that mostly come in the form of either blocks of flats or low-rise housing. Stonebridge itself is dotted with a good selection of restaurants, supermarkets, and other retail shops, but there is a larger concentration of commercial spaces and a number of hotels to the south-east due to Lower Place’s business parks. To the east, Roundwood Park features an aviary, a flower garden, and even a skate park, in addition to its own café and several playgrounds for children, while the Stonebridge Park and Harlesden rail stations, located at either end of the district, are conveniently served by both underground and overground trains.
