Camden Town is a north-west London district located approximately 4.1 km north of Charing Cross and within the London Borough of Camden. Considered one of the more well-established neighbourhoods in the region, it has shifted away from its more industrial character towards one that is identified by its energetic service sector, which includes entertainment, tourism, and retail. It is well known for both its live music venues and extensive collection street markets, the latter of which appeals to both tourists and locals due to the wide variety of goods being sold. Beyond the markets, many of the other attractions in the area are centered around the Camden Town tube station. Camden has also become one of the region’s main transport hubs and is served by numerous London Bus routes, black taxis, and minicab services, in addition to its London Underground station and the Camden Road railway station.
